About Our School

East Wold Church of England Primary School is located in the village of Legbourne, approximately 3 miles S E of the market town of Louth on the edge of the beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds.  The school is a member of The Spire Federation and with its partner school at North Cockerington, shares a Governing Body and Executive Head Teacher.  The Federation is greatly appreciated by staff, pupil and parents for the greater opportunities it offers for working together and for sharing opportunities to enrich our curriculum provision.

Our popular school,  housed in modern purpose-built premises on a well-landscaped site, serves the villages of Legbourne, South Reston, North Reston, Muckton, Authorpe and Little Cawthorpe, with increasing numbers of parents choosing to travel to us from Louth and other areas.

Since our opening in September 1993, we have endeavoured to retain the special qualities inherent in a "village school" which many parents and children greatly value.

Values

The Spire Federation promotes the social, emotional and intellectual development of each child in a happy, caring and stimulating environment, rooted in Christian values. At the heart of our school is the belief that all children are loved by God, are individually unique and that the school has a mission to help each pupil to fulfil their potential in all aspects of their personhood.  We encourage the love of neighbour, the challenge and gift of service, and the experience of trust and forgiveness.

 Vision

We trust that, in partnership with parents, we will have laid the foundation for our children to be happy, confident and independent.  It is our hope that all our pupils become flourishing members of society, capable of applying and adapting themselves to the demands of living and working in an ever-changing world.
