Please look in our gallery as art is a very important part of the curriculum.  Children learn to use their observational skills, which in turn, enhance learning in science and the humanities subjects.  They develop hand / eye co-ordination, and as they view and discusss the work of other artists and creatives, children start to find out about different experiences and ways of looking at, exploring and representing things.  All children are born creative and the chance to express their own views and creativity is essential to healthy development.  

From talking to the children we also know that art work links very closely with our 'Well-being Warrior' golden thread.
